Employment Services Program
OBJECTIVE: To deliver employment services to clients and communities. This could include counseling, placement and referral activities through organizations in the community.

To deliver employment services to clients and communities such as counselling, placement & referral activities through organizations in the community.
ELIGIBLE SPONSORS:
Aboriginal Bands/organizations. Aboriginal/Non-Aboriginal small business and/or corporations.
ELIGIBLE CLIENTS:
Services offered will be open to all aboriginal persons within the OTDC service area. Examples of specific clientele would include: Employment Insurance claimants, Social Assistance recipients, women & people with disabilities, those requiring Job Search assistance,
ACTIVITIES/SERVICES:
These services are ÒOutreachÓ type activities. All Employment Services programs are client entered, with the employment counselorÕs role to assist those clients to play an on-going and active role in assessing their employment difficulties and in finding solution to resolve them. Activities may also include liaison with HRCC offices related to EI (HRIF) clients. Examples of Activities/Services could include: Providing Labour Market information, Job Search information & skills including Job Finding Clubs, Employer referral, Career Counseling etc.
ELIGIBLE COSTS:
Sponsor Delivery costs are negotiable under a fee for service type arrangement.
